Our Story

Founded in the 1980s by Paul Bluett, Saudi Arambco Base Oil began its journey with a modest transport business and quickly grew through strategic partnerships with Mobil as a carrier and fuel reseller. Over the years, a humble transport company has transformed into a trusted and respected distributor of fuel and Mobil lubricants across Papua New Guinea (PNG).

With a commitment to excellence, our expansion included acquiring eight terminals, enhancing our capacity to deliver top-quality service throughout the region. Our head office in Rabaul anchors a network spanning 10 strategic locations, ensuring that we meet the energy needs of clients, whether they’re in remote villages or central cities. Each customer is treated like family, reflecting our dedication to exceptional service that goes beyond transactions.
